Cuan Mhuire was founded in 1966 and since then it has become Ireland’s largest provider of addiction treatment services. It has a long and proud tradition of reaching out and providing care to those most marginalised in Irish society and has pioneered the provision of targeted, bespoke solutions for various cohorts within the addicted population, as the various substances and habits to which one can become addicted have their own nuances. Having successfully established these solution focused services for women and addiction and those who are drug dependent, Cuan Mhuire was especially delighted to establish the first specialist residential gambling addiction rehabilitation programme at Cuan Mhuire, Athy, Co. Kildare. This 12 week residential programme combines the very best of our 50 plus years of experience in the field with client and group therapeutic interventions specifically tailored to meet the needs of an individual with a gambling dependence. Referrals are welcome from professional sources or equally from the individual who is affected. Please contact (059) 8631493 or [email protected]
They also provide education and information services with outreach to individuals, communities, schools and businesses who may need to know more about the complexities of addiction.
Aiséirí works together with problem gamblers and their families through the specific treatment programmes that they have developed. For more information, please contact Aiseiri on [email protected], or phone 00353 527441166
