The Forge Family Resource Centre is a community development organisation which provides services and support to families and individuals on a cross border cross community basis.

Mission Statement

The Forge FRC aims to act as a catalyst and provide a focus for the development of the communities of Pettigo, Tullyhommon and hinterland. The Forge FRC will endeavour to support social inclusion and promote the well-being of children, families and the wider community by encouraging participation, personal development and inclusiveness through the implementation of our programmes and activities.

Guiding Principles

To establish, promote & operate a Family Resource Centre which will act as a hub and focus for the development of the children and families of Pettigo, Tullyhommon and hinterland with a view to supporting social inclusion, and promoting the educational, cultural & economic welfare of all.

To highlight children and family needs and issues as they arise and to provide an appropriate response to these needs through prevention services and Meitheals.

To actively encourage the participation of the beneficiaries of the Centre in the planning, design and management of specific programmes and decision making process collectively.
